How to Use the Butterfly Templates
These printable butterfly templates can be used in so many ways!
All you have to do is print the page you want on normal printer paper, cardstock, or colored paper. And cut out the template.
They can be used as coloring pages on their own as well.
Here are a couple ideas for using the butterfly templates:
Toilet Paper Roll Butterfly: Print on cardstock or trace the template onto construction paper and cut out. Glue a toilet paper tube in the center of the wings and allow your child to decorate however they want.
Symmetrical Painting: Print and cut out the butterfly of your choice. Allow your child to paint on half of the butterfly. Fold the other half on top and press with your hands. Open up the butterfly and see a symmetrical design on the butterfly.
Decorations: Use the large or small butterfly templates printed on bright paper to decorate for parties, spring classrooms, or bulletin boards.
Butterfly/Spring Garland: Print out various butterfly shapes and sizes and glue or string together as a garland. Kids can paint each butterfly or you can print them on colored paper. Mix in some flower templates for a spring theme.
