What is Secret Santa?
Secret Santa is a gift exchange that takes place at Christmastime. It’s a Christmas tradition in which members of a group- families, co-workers, or friends- are randomly chosen to give/receive gifts.
Everyone pulls a name and that is the person they will shop for. The identity of the gift giver remains a secret- thus the name Secret Santa.
The gift exchange then takes place on a predetermined date- usually at a Christmas party or a Christmas potluck (get your potluck sign up sheets here!)
When planning a secret Santa, be sure to include a last day to sign up date so you don’t have anyone want to join after the names have already been exchanged.

How to Print & Use the Free Secret Santa Gift Tag Printables
These gift tag printables are all PDF files that are easily printed from home.
Here are some helpful tips to get the best results with your printable gift tags:
Print on Tags Cardstock/Sticker Paper: Using thicker cardstock means your tags will hold up and make it to your Secret Santa exchange without tearing or wrinkling. The rectangular gift tags can also be printed on sticker paper and cut out to stick to your gifts.
Print in Full Color: Don’t try to save ink or print on draft. The best looking tags will be full color.
Use a Laser Printer: Laser printers will give the cleanest printing job. If you don’t have one, upload the file to Staples or Office Depot -or even your local library, if they offer color printing.
Once printed, simply cut out the gift tags with a sharp pair of scissors or use an exacto knife.
Punch a hole where indicated and use ribbon, string, or raffia to attach the tag to your gift.
If you chose to print on sticker paper, simply cut the tag out, peel off the backing, and affix to your gift.
