To make this pumpkin pie slime:

Start by pouring 1/2 cup of clear glue into your bowl.

Add in 3-4 drops of coloring, if you are using it and stir until it is mixed in completely.

Next add about 1/4-1/2 tsp of fine orange glitter. This is totally optional, but let’s face it….everything is better with glitter!

Now add in all of your spices. And stir well until it is all uniformly mixed. You don’ t want any clumps of spices in your slime!

Now it’s time to turn this spiced up glue into slime!

Add the 2 tsp of baking soda and mix well.

Finally add in your 1 T of contact solution and stir. You will notice the chemical change take place almost immediately.

This is a fun step for young kids to do on their own. My 4 year old LOVES watching the glue magically becomes slime.

Keep stirring until all of the contact solution has been mixed in. At this point the slime should be pulled away from the edges of the bowl and will most likely be stuck in a blob on your spoon.

At this point it’s best to get your hands in there and start kneading.

The slime can still be quite sticky at this point, so an adult may be needed for this initial kneading. Use a light and quick touch to knead in the contact solution. If after a few minutes of kneading the slime is still sticky, try adding just a drop or 2 of contact solution and then knead it well to disperse throughout the slime.
