How to Use the Skip Counting Charts for Learning:

Not sure what to do with these free printable skip counting charts? Here are a few ideas on how to incorporate them into your learning:

Use the skip counting charts as a reference tool: Print out at least one copy of each of the skip counting charts and place them in a page protector in your child’s math or homeschool binder. Allow them to use it as a reference whenever they need it. This may seem like cheating, but even if they have to look up the answer to the problems as they work, it will help them commit the information to memory.

Use the skip counting charts for daily practice: Add in a daily skip counting practice for your child or students. Focus on one number at a time and have your child look at the chart and chant the numbers all the way up to 100. Once they have one number down, move on to the next. I suggest starting with 10s then moving to 2s and 5s, before tackling the other numbers.

Use the skip counting charts as a manipulative when beginning to learn the multiplication facts. When teaching multiplication, come back to skip counting to show the correlation between skip counting and multiplying.
